About Me
Daniel Eduardo Hernandez (he/him) is a Latine Bilingual Journalist from the Inland Empire in Southern California. His passion for storytelling and journalism started after he bought his first camera six years ago. What began as a fascination for taking photos and videos grew into a passion for multimedia journalism.
His most recent work includes two long-form digital and audio projects for KQED in San Francisco. His byline is also found on El Tecolote and San Francisco State University’s student-journalism publications.
Daniel has also won multiple state-wide collegiate awards for his reporting, including first place for News Photography and Podcasting.
He is entering his final semester at SF State, majoring in Bilingual Spanish Journalism and plans to graduate in December 2024.
When he isn't researching for an article or interviewing sources, he explores the Bay Area and connects with the Latino community in California.
